the second one is the best. But the picture is not focus. Never shoot out of focus. To get the effect you need a diffuser. Or a softening filter.

Reshoot photos with a higher shutter speed unless you want the out of focus or motion feeling.

The 2nd one is larger, obviously. It depends on what effect you want the photograph to have. I think I like the first one, the smaller one, in that it is interesting without being intrusively intimate. I like its slightly tighter focus, too.

They are both out of focus.

Use the self timer and find a nicer background.

the 2nd looks closer but they do look like the same picture
i would pick #2
