I am making "Pasuqe" pronounced "pazg'uke".

Cook a package of bacon that is cut up into smaller pieces.
Peel potatoes, cut into pieces, and boil. Cook until soft. While the water is boiling, mix egg and flour to make bitesize "dumplings". When bacon is cooked mix the bacon (greese and all) into the boiling mixture of water, potatoes and dumplings.... let it simmer for about 15 minutes...

Bacon- 3.00 dollars
Potatoes- 2.00 dollars
Water-Free
Eggs - .79 cents
Flour - 1.00 dollars
--------------------
6.79 and you can feed a family!

Don't forget to add some salt and lots of pepper! Momma showed me how to make it! She learned from her Grandma who grew up during the depression. Poor people food!
