My first dance is comming up and I just don't know what to do should I just go out with my friends to the dance or ask someone?

Try saying; " So, can I dance with you?" If they say no then casually remark; "Your loss!", and walk away.

I think it's more fun to go with your friends then ask some guy there if he wants to dance with you.

well asking someone is very difficult. i think that for this dance, go with your friends. you should maybe take it slower and ask him to dance first, then at the next dance you can ask him, or maybe he will ask you! but just be prepared if he does say no. and dont be discuraged if he does, just move on. its not the end of the world. :]

Go with your friends! A lot of times guys go with their friends too and you'll have so much more fun being with your friends and available to dance with more than one guy.

Ask the person who you want to ask if they are going to the dance...like this...
"Are you going to the dance?"
"I want to go to. It sounds like fun. Why don't we go together?"

go with your friends, youll have a lot more fun. when your with all your girlfriends you can dance with all of your guy friends too without having to worry if your date is having as much fun as you.
