Take your baby to the pet groomers, they have stronger shampoos and know how to deal with hard to get rid of fleas. While baby is getting washed, go home and wash all your sheets, blankets, and any clothes that the dog can get into like jackets or clothes on the bedroom floor. Vacuum the entire house. This will help prevent re-occurrences. Then use a flea collar for back up power for about a month or so.

You need to invest in some Frontline from the vet or 1-800-Pet-Meds. They will get rid of the fleas and will keep your little dog flea-free for a month. I think you can get the 3 pack (3 months) for about $40. It's a good investment!!!
You can also wash your dog in plain dishwashing liquid (like Dawn or a cheap regular - not antibacterial or heavily scented, or with lotion - dishwashing liquid and it will stun the fleas. Then you can brush them off with a flea comb and/or pick them off. But beware, they will come back to life, wo have a bowl of vinegar nearby to "drown" them in or "pop" them (kill by squeezing) as soon as you pull them off. Fleas are hard to pop so make sure they are dead before letting go of them. Also, the stuff that pops out of the flea can contain eggs, so don't wipe it anywhere, because you could be laying eggs that will hatch.
Don't use any of the stuff you can buy at the grocery or WalMart. It can literally KILL your dog!!!

Good luck! :)

Has she had them for a while or is she acting wierd? you need to make sure she isn't flea animic...if she is acting lethargic or you can press your thumb on her gums and see if the color returns quickly ( a sign of blood circulation)...if she seems to be sick oor showing any of these signs get her to the vet right away...of not try bathing her (doesnt have to be flea shampoo) and then sitting and picking off as many fleas as possible, then go ahead and get the front line and make sure you dont put too much on since she is a small dog. then go ahead and get some flea spray and spray around the house..just make sure not too much around where she sleeps and near her food.....

Use a flea shampoo first, then front-line. It's expensive (check out Ebay), but it works well and very quickly. It will work through the summer and will keep them from coming back when eggs start to hatch.. Our groomer told us to also wipe down and wash stuff with Blue Dawn (the dish soap), when our dog had a flea infestation.

Buy some flea repellent! There's plenty of brands to choose from. Advantage, Advantix, Frontline Plus, etc.

Get flea control for her. Front-line Plus is really good, since it is water proof and it also controls ticks as well. It will stay on her and keep the fleas/ticks off for a month.

A Flea Dip is what you need, but you should go to a vet and have it done right with her being a lil dog.

give her/him a good bath. scrup really good under her/his fur. Pamolive(the green kind) works the best for killing fleas. Try this it works. You also need to take her/him to the vet to get checked for any worms or parasites because fleas carry those. Your vet should give you the best meds. I hope that helps. =)

Flea bath, preferably done by your local vet's office as the commercial stuff isn't good. You also need to flea bomb the house, wash/decontaminate all her bedding.
