there's a window of opportunity only open during certain time periods. at graduation of 2005, i applied. they are looking for specialized majors of study. accounting, computer science, engineering, etc. you have to have a good g.p.a, i believe it was 3.0+, if no work experience a certification is a plus. there's an extreme physical exam that u have to pass. something like 50 push ups. 15 pull ups. 5 or 6 minute mile, etc. look into that. I was well within the application process, but I didnt have my cpa certification and less than a year of solid work experience. with the work experience i have now, i could probably reapply and have a better chance, but is the window of opportunity still open.
ur on call 24/7 n u have to go where they want u.

Contact your local FBI office and they will provide you assistance. You must possess no less than a B.A degree to be an FBI agent. CIA is a whole other matter.

Go to military.com - I am assuming that you are military since you posted this under military - they will advertise career fairs for military personel that are not renewing their contracts and are going into the civilian world - they have CIA and FBI reps there - if you already have a security clearence that is a huge step ahead - good luck

You will need to keep your grades good get a BA or BS that is relative to the field you wish to work in. Service in the military is good. If you speak languages that is always helpful if you want to learn a language and become fluent choose arabic.
the more specific skills you develop that would be useful the better chance you will have of being selected. If you have bad grades then you will have to have a very specific skill that is useful to them that not many others have. I would call them and get a list of things that they consider important. When you call ask for human resources they will be able to handle your questions easiest.
good luck

Buy some used medical tools off the iNternet, seal off your basement and get yourself a couple of stray dog... nevermind, nevermind. Just keep your head down and study hard.
