report them and ignore them and if I'm in the mood for a fight I'd send them a message "hope you die too, see you in hell"

Unless it's a post that references something serious, like pedophilia, I would NEVER report it.
Those who "Report Abuse" because they are merely upset by being targets of lame threats, blunt opposing opinions, or stinging sarcasm possess very weak wills, not to mention paper-thin skin.
Ignoring is almost always the best policy because, - by responding to those who submit inflammatory posts you are giving them precisely what they are looking for.
P.S. I've only reported one person on Y!A,... and that person was Bono of U2...:-))

What goes around comes around. Have faith in karma. It would ironic if by hoping you die, they get deathly ill. But the world works like that sometimes. Don't put out in the world what you're not willing to get back.

I would recommend ignoring them.
Yes it shows they got you. And this ought to be an open forum. Unless there is an egregious and specific threat, sanctioning them is rewarding them.
