I know he's a naturally jealous guy but i dont know why he doesnt trust me.
We havent been going out long but he loves me and i love him.
He said it was for a joke but he made his best friend say he wanted to have sex with me and that he loved me, he made him ask if we could get together behind his back. When i did actually talk to his best friend and explain that i didnt like him in that way, they both fell about laughing.
I dont understand why he's so insecure.
Should i end it with him as i dont think he can trust me?

I think he is just young and immature. When you are younger it is harder to be secure. That is why he is trying to make it into a joke. I wouldn't worry a lot now, but if he continues with this behavior I would get get rid of him. Good luck sweetie.

I suggest you do what I did and google verbal abuse and learn the cycles, the reason I don't give you one link is that you will see many to chose from and there are some great ones. Things I can share is I have been through the same. Most usually young and have no understanding say just leave him. Not realizing that just because they do bad things to you that love does not just stop. Education on the matter is your greatest tool. It will help you to understand the cycle and give you ways to handle the situation. First of all they try to rid your friends and family if possible to isolate you to themselves. Don't let him do that. See your friends, you need them, cause when men come and go they will be there to hold you. when you gain strength and find out your not alone wow that is when you will be able to make a rational decision.

You need to tell him to either grow up or get lost. That isn't funny and it isn't natural for someone to do that to someone they claim to love.
I doubt love is involved because it doesn't sound like either of you has known each other long enough to truly know love, you are more infatuated with each other and enjoy each other's company. This isn't love. I would suggest counseling for both of you to get a grip on what is going on between you. Something just isn't right.
Be wise. If it doesn't feel or look right, it usually isn't so I think you already know the steps you need to take. Good luck.

yeah men try and test all the time..but i think that was messed up that he would test you that way...cuz it wouldnt be funny to him if u actually fell for it and his friend really wanted to be with u.
well as far as u being with him along time and he loves u but doesnt trust u..well my husbands the same way.. it's a sucky *** feeling but as long as u know ur not doing nothing wrong then let it be his insecurity not urs!he's either gonna have to get over it or ur going to have to move on..u dont want to always be in a tested or trying to explain ur self.i always tell my husband there's something called divorce if it gets that serious that he loves me but cant trust me, and if he keeps doing that to u test his butt 2.see how he likes it and if he falls for it then u know what kind of person he is..

Definitely. They both sound very immature and childish in the first place!
If he really doesn't trust you, there's not much you can say to convince him. Sounds like you need to just leave both of them alone for awhile.
Break it off and tell him just what you've said here.

Your boyfriend's joke is a joke only if something like this never happens again. If it does, watch out. Jealous boyfriends and husbands are bad news.

If I were you, I would have broken up with him immediately. that is not only a cruel joke, but it is distrustful and distasteful. I could not respect a man that would pull something like that. I would consider that disrespectful to me.

Yes, you probably should go ahead and end it with him. If he's that insecure then the jealousy won't get any better and he will probably get worse. It very hard to live with someone like that.

sounds like he has issues ... you need someone who will trust you ... there's no way a guy can say he loves you but not trust you ... they go together.
for someone to pull a juvenille prank like that deserves to be cheated on ... (j/k) but seriously think about what else he may do ..
