Heres what I have on hand: Hamburger, Egg noodles,Corkscrew pasta, cheese, spaghettie sauce, onions, potatoes, garlic, asparagus, Soups, Bisquick, green beans. Those are a few of the things I have that generally go into some hotdishs, so if you could give me any simple ideas for hot dishes then I can work with what I have to switch things up. I also have many of the basic things people keep in the kitchen. I would like to use hamburger in it somehow.

You can make an impossible cheeseburger pie. Brown the hamburger with the onion, season with salt and pepper and some garlic, either fresh or powder. Spoon it into the bottom of a pie plate or a sqare cake pan. Top with shredded cheese of your choice (what you have on hand), Combine 3/4 cup of bisquick, 1 1/2 cup milk and 3 eggs. Pour over the hamburger and bake at 350 until golden brown, usually 25-30 minutes. It makes its own crust. While it's in the oven, drizzle the asparagus with olive oil, salt and pepper put it on a cookie sheet and when the impossible pie is 15 minutes along put it on the top rack and slide the asparagus on the bottom rack, they should finish at the same time.

Hamburger Stew -
Brown hamburger. Add 1 can condensed mushroom soup, and 2 cups broth or bouillion. Add 1 tablespoon chopped or dried onion, and 1 teaspoon garlic.
Add chopped potatoes, if desired, and cook 30 minutes.
Add 1 pound of frozen veg [ mixed, peas, corn, etc. ] and cook another 20 min.
You are done if you already added potatoes; otherwise, serve over cooked noodles/rice/biscuits.

on the side ( or back ) of your Bisquick box should be a recipe for an easy casserole using the ground beef, onions and cheese. it's sort of a Hamburger helper with a biscuit topping.
very good!

If you have sour cream, you can do this simple beef stroganoff:

Beef stroganoff

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 to 2 pounds hamburger
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 cup beef bouillon or broth
1 medium onion, quartered and sliced
3 tablespoons sour cream, room temperature

PREPARATION:
Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium saucepan. Blend in flour; gradually stir in beef broth, stirring and cooking until thickened and smooth. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat; quickly brown meat and onion. Add meat and onions to beef sauce. Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes; stir in sour cream and heat through but do not boil. Serve over buttered noodles or rice.
