It's apparent that you really like this guy. If you like him being emo then who knows...you may like being emo as well. Just be true to yourself. If you do try emo and don't like, then go back to what you think is real. He was obviously attracted to you before you tried emo so he will be if you decided to change back. You may try it as a surprise to him and see what his opinion of you as emo is. Just remember that if you are unhappy in a relationship, it probably means that it won't last long. So make sure you both are happy...and that way your man will be happy no matter how you dress. Best of luck.

I Think You Should Just Be Your Own Self Instead Of Changing For Somebody Else If That Person Don't Like For Who You Are Then Thats To Bad You Don't Need To Kiss Nobody *** Just Be Your Self.

Ya cant' really turn Emo or Goth or whatever they call it these days. Its more a mind set than a fashion. If you want to dress that way, feel free, but it doesnt make you Emo. You would do better to be yourself. IF he doesnt like you for who you are, he's not worth it.

You should never change for anyone. If you end up changing yourself for this person, you will lose who you were in the first place (which ends up being the person that he really likes anyway!) You should not change just for someone to like you, you might not like the person that you are becoming and he might not like it either. It always ends up as a battle lost and you will wonder how stupid it was to put yourself through such agony. And when you change yourself, what will keep him from liking something different? Will you change again for him? It is worth it? Try finding someone who thinks that you are perfect just the way you are. It will keep you from heartache.

From bitter experience, I truly believe that you are best off just being YOU! I tried for years to mold myself into what I thought a certain guy wanted, but it only resulted in lots of pain, and much wasted time during which I just grew older & when I otherwise could have been the "real me" rather than a counterfeit, & attracted someone right for who I really was! And it could have therefore led to something true, meaningful, uplifting, and LASTING! So I urge you: Don't settle! You will live to sorely regret it if you do!!!

If he is Emo, he will accept you just the way you are- if he is interested. He won't be impressed by you trying to hard. That really turns Emo guys off. Be yourself, and if it is meant to be, it will be. Really, he will be more impressed by you being individual than by you trying to fit in.

Changing yourself just to get a guy to like you? Sure you can, but I think a couple as a guy and a girl comfortable with each other's style, personality, and way of thinking. Probably in my opinion you are going to want to change back to your original self sooner or later.

Personally, I don't think you should have to change your style in order to attract someone. However when I became attracted to a guy in order to get him to notice me I started dressing more sexy. Guess it's the same thing.
If you really think it's worth it I say go for it. However you should incorporate your own sense of style into it so when you've hooked him you can go back to your style without shocking him.

Why would you change for anyone!?! The person will either choose you for who you are or they wont...its no different if you were to go into a marriage or relationship in hopes of trying to change someone...all your going to be is resentful and disappointed so why try.
You be who you are and besides he will respect you more for sticking to your principles and standards instead of being a pushover doing whatever it takes to land the guy...think about it. Good luck!
