We're spanish, we really don't have a problem with it, my mom was a little upset, but she's come around. My question is how will her family respond to their daughter having a kid to an hispanic boy. Do any of yall have experience with this?
Me and all my sisters date alot of african-american thats why it was easy for us to get used to it.

I went through this with my family. I am Basque and my baby's mom is Latina. At first they were shocked, upset, horrified, ect. At the end, once they see that beautiful baby both familys will come together.

There seems to be some contradiction and confusion in your dilemann.If dating African-Americans is as common in your family as you say it is , then I don't understand what your problem is.Reading between the lines , it appears you have the issue with this girl rather than your stated concern for her family reaction.Afterall, your mother got used to it and you indicated she originally had a problem with it.Being spanish carries no special significance relative to this girl or anyone else for that matter.I suggest you examine your own feelings first since you seem bothered that the girl is pregnant.Oh by the way, I've dated outside my "race" all my life.

Im an african american female and if I became became pregnant by an hispanic guy I dont think that my parents wouldnt be upset beacuse we;my family dont look at hispanics as a different race from us, welook atthem different as in looks and lanuage but as far as people we are all the same. Plus I love hispanic guys and mexican guys too.

Yes, a difference of race can be a little bit of a shock to some people. I can honestly tell you that some people aren't as shy and reserved like others. Those people are very opinionated and that can end your brother and his gurl up in a bad situation......for some. You see, there are a bunch of people that like to talk a lot of s**t just for the hell of it. Luckily for you, it is not your problem. But it will also hurt you to hear people say bad things about them. All in all people eventually get over it. Everyone knows that they can't change the situation. They can't change the fact that the baby is Moreno y Latino. Your mother and her mother will end up loving their grandchild in the end. Why?.....Because it is their blood. You should know that Latinos and Moreno's never Deny their family. Don't worry. It'll all turn out to be just fine. You will always hear people talk just because they aren't happy with their own life but all you can do is turn around and ignore it.

I don't think race has anything to do with it. I think her parents will be more upset that their daughter is pregnant. How long have your brother and her been dating or was it a 1-night stand? If I was the parent I'd be upset my son/daughter was going to become a parent without being married and maybe still in school.

i have a friend that got a black girl prego and her mom finally acceppted to because she loved the baby no matter what coloer it was. you will see that everything will go together i hope and if not then its for the best
