Losing weight fast doesnt work. You need to do more, sit less, eat less and no snacks after 7pm. Try to eat lots of veggies and fruits and less potatos and rice.

For your height you are in a good weight class. Now as far as losing weight fast that is very unhealthy and can cause major body disfunctions. The main goal is to lose maybe two to three pounds a week at MOST. This works your body without stressing it and making it starve for the much needed nutrients. Calories are key to cut to lose weight, as one pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories, but carbs, sugars, proteins, and other nutrients are required to maintain proper bodily functions. Light jogging is the best to get your heart rate going and burning fat. Never go faster than to the point where you can't talk. You must go at a talking pace to burn fat. Do this 20-40 every other day and you'll notice results rather quickly. Losing weight fast is a bad idea and has major health risks. Your 13 don't worry about it so much.

Your BMI (Body Mass Index) is a good guide as to whether or not you need to lose some weight.
Given your current height and weight, your BMI is 24.16 -which is classed as healthy.
A BMI anywhere in the range of 18.5-24.9 is healthy, so you are OK. If you wanted to lose a few pounds, aim to do so slowly (2/3lbs per week max). Exercise and sensible diet should do that. Don't drop too low, though.

Talk to your Mom. Tell her that you would like to lose a few pounds. Since she probably does the grocery shopping & cooking for your house, maybe she can help you by buying and cooking healthier foods.

Also, exercise at least 3 times/week for 30 minutes each time. This can include things like swimming, hiking, walking, jogging, sports, etc.

don't do it fast..although you want to see results immediately, you will end up gaining more weight back. Exercise, and eat healthy foods, cut out the crap, pop, candy etc. In stead, have fruits, veggies, go walking, or jogging and lead a healthier lifestyle. you are still very young and shouldn't be worrying about your weight....with your height, your weight sounds good!

since you're only 13, you probably will grow a few more inches. just eat right and keep active so you stay at a healthy weight. as you grow, you will get thinner, if you watch what you eat. (not a lot of junk food.)
