Look into a Ford Mustang GT, Dodge Charger RT, or a Nissan 350Z. All great, fast cars.

If you like to mod your car, I'd go for a 2001 Audi S4. For somewhere in the 20k range you can get a twin turbo V6 that can get less than 6.0 to 60 with no trouble at all. Add a performance chip and you're in the low 5's. Be sure you have a tolerance for trouble shooting and quirkiness though. It IS an Audi.

Dodge Neon SrT4, VW GTi, Subi WRX, Mitsi Evo, I dont think a 350Z can get under 6sec. if it does it sure doent feel like it.

I got all this for $18,000 with only 12,000 miles on it....
