I was born and raised Christian, but after I got older and wiser I decided thats it's all B.S.
How can I get the church to destroy all records of my affiliation, Baptism records, etc...
Should I go with a strongly worded letter threatening legal action if they fail to comply?

Paien: because I had no choice in the matter when I was a child. I don't want my name associated in any way with this organization, I don't want to lend any credence to this rubbish

step 1: take the bible and chuck it in the trash. you already read it. now, get rid of it.
step 2: enjoy your new-found intellectual freedom and enjoy what that has to offer. go to a museum (not any in Kentucky) and start to learn about the natural world.
step 3: never return to ritualistic cannibalism (eating flesh and drinking blood in church) or any of the other crazy cult rituals they do.

You can't really have them destroy those records as they can be used for identification purposes, but if you eat a live rabbit in the middle of church, while you are butt naked, they will not affiliate you with their church anymore, guaranteed.

You shouldn't worry about it. If you really are an atheist, then that's what you are. Most of us were born into a family that tried to shove religion into us. As long as you truly feel the you do, there is no need for destroying any of that.

How do you come back from a place you have never been to. Its not necessary to do that. Belonging to a church and commiting rituals does not make you a Christian just like putting something in the garage does not make it a Car.

Your wiser now!!
You sound like the world has trapped you in all its lies.
God is a respecter of men, if you wish to turn your back on him he will allow you but do not blame him when he vomits you from his mouth and his glorious presence.

step 1: drench yourself in gasoline (I know it's expensive, but just trust me)
step 2: go to a catholic church
step 3: ask if they have any matches you can borrow (bear withg me on this)
step 4: light the match and hold it close to your body but not close enough to ignite the gas. the catholics will think you're a suicidal and you'll be a pariah
does that help?

Why worry about it? Sounds to me like you are wanting to change history. Whether or not you like it, Christianity is a part of your past. You cannot erase its existence. Just be glad you have finally grown out of it, and instead of worrying about the past, consider what you can do to make the future better.

By the sound of it ,you didn't get wiser if you want to renounce Christ. He is our Creator, Creator of the universe . If you realy don't care anymore, why bother with getting rid of records.

God knows everything so you just did it..earthly records don't count.. You are asking him to take your name out of the book of life and He knows it..
I really assume that you were never in the Book of Life as anyone that really knows God would never leave him..
Anyway have a happy life if you can?

You can call them and ask for your paperwork, and then you can destroy it.
If you were Catholic, it shouldn't be too hard. Just make a small donation to Planned Parenthood, and tell your bishop, and you'll be excommunicated lickety-split.

Renounce Christianity by ending the money flow you allow them once that is done they will consider you dead.
You will need legal action most probably.
