i'm 17 asian and brown. people have often said to me i'm beautiful but i'm only using it in this case because be lieve me i'm modest but just go with wat i have to say.Ever since joining a mixed skl (private) , guys tend to stare at me alot, i never got this kinda attention before and find it strange. They like constantly stare like 'dazed' when they look at me. It's almost been a year since starting this skl and i'm getting used to being around guys. but is it because i'm differnt to all the other blonde tall girls or do they like me?
plus my guy mate is flirting with me recently..how can i move further with him... maybe like hint for him to ask me out?
i think by this you can tell my confidence level is low. how can i get my self esteem back and confidence that i used to have when i was young soo i can feel comfortable whereever i am.

Listen, I think we both know that you attractive, even if I dont know how you look like. But by the sound of it, it seems like you're just too modest. I may not know exactly why guys stare at you but perhaps its because you look different compared to the other girls at your school.
I think, that in order for you to raise your self esteem you must feel good about yourself. Think what positive traits you have other than looking at the negative things.
But whatever you do, dont let it get into your head. No likes a big headed person. People tend to like others who are content with themselves and I think you should start learning how to.

To be honest, many guys your age have ADD, so they stare blankly into space from time to time no matter if you are there or not (Do their eyes follow you when you move, or just keep staring ahead?).

Some guys probably stare because they think that you are hot, and they are day dreaming about what it would be like to be somewhere alone with you (use your imagination to fill in the blanks).

If you want this guy to ask you out, why not take the initiative and ask him out yourself? Just be casual about it, like it is no big deal if he says yes or no, and he is more likely to say yes, since there is no pressure, and no awkward moment as a result.

Guys your age don't understand subtle hints.

I think those guys think you're pretty and maybe not used to seeing some one prettier than those blonde girls at school
Ask your guy friend out, don't be shy
