Yes, definitely. It seems at every age, we always think we have it (life) all figured out....then we age another 2 or 3 years and realize we didn't know anything back then!! With each year, we grow, we learn more about the world, ourselves, what we want in life, etc. A 17 yr old just isn't going to know as much about what he or she wants (really) as a 30 yr old woman. It's just not possible. The 17 yo will THINK she knows what she wants but believe me, it'll change drastically from 17 to 30.
Still, I think r'ships CAN work where there's an age difference. Look at Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. Most guys his age would NOT want to settle down with a woman who has 4 kids and a very present ex husband. Obviously Ashton Kutcher is more mature than his years, which is why their r'ship works. So, it IS possible but I think it's pretty rare.

Age doesnt matter to a certain age! i mean it doesnt really matter at all. It just makes things more of an obsticle. For it to work out when you are young is to have both of you to not care about age at all so that the relationship will last as long as you want. Age to me doesnt really matter.

Who could really feel good about walking down the street if you are young and just starting out with somebody old enough to be your grams or grandpa? On the other hand if you’re the older one they are usually the proud ones because they are with someone half their age. If a considerably older person wants to be with someone much younger or even much older, probably should look for some RED flags because they’re some.

As much as it sucks to say. Yeah it does matter. Maturity level regarding certain conversations. The age range could also play a factor. But they say love knows no age, gender, color or religion, don't sweat it so much. And if it still bothers you take some time and date people your age, and see how you feel.

As long as both members of the relationship are 18 and older, then it is fine. However, if the numbers were to fall below that, meaning only one member is over 18, and the other is under, then the government red tape still applies, and is not acceptable.

As long as you're both of legal age, generally not. If you get along, thats all that matters, but I'd think anything outside of 15-20 years is pushing the envelope.

I was stuck in a situation like that. But I realized if you really do love someone, nothing should come in the way or matter, especially when it comes to the AGE....... it just takes time.

Hell no age doesn't matter it is just a number. It is how you feel about the person that you love. Some people think that it does but really if you love the person and you want to be with him then you should be happy.Happiness and love don't have a age limit.

It depends on the exact age difference, but I definitely think it matters, there can be a huge maturity difference.
