If your body (face/back/hair etc) produces natural oils, and they either clog your own pores before or after mixing w/dust/dirt which then causes you to break out wherever those pores are clogged... what possible reason does the body have for producing these oils after sleep or exercise etc. ?

Body oils protect your skin from viruses and keep your skin elastic so it won't break.
You just sound like you have an acne problem.
The oils from your hair are what clog the pores on your skin, not the oils your face produces. Keep your hair out of your face.
After sleeping, it's probably because your sheets and pillowcases are dirty.
Once more, your hair transfers all the oils to the sheets and pillowcase and then you move around at night, getting the oils on your face.
You should change your bedclothes every week.
And sweating actually clears out your pores because the sweat forces dirt and impurities from your skin.
