What is your favorite pagan band???

Yes, there are many bands that are openly pagan.
Sully Erna (the lead singer of godsmack) has said many times that he is a Wiccan.

Godsmack's the only one I really like. Most Pagan music is too New Agey or Goth for me. I like country, hip-hop, and 80s New Wave, and you can't get those in Pagan flavors yet.

I'd love to be proven wrong, though, so I starred this hoping to find new bands!

I never refer to them as "pagan" but I suppose it is an accurate description.

Rush, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Third Eye Blind, Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Creed, and many more. I like a lot of the Alternative bands that came out during the 90's.

I like Godsmack, and Type O Negative -- I don't know if the members are actually Pagan, but alot of their songs have Pagan themes.

My favorite openly Pagan band, performing Pagan music (or should that be musick?) is Laura Powers. There is also Libana, who produces wonderful music for ritual. I also love Native American music, which, by definition, is Pagan.

For that matter, if you look at definitions of Pagan, on of them being to believe in multiple gods, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is a Pagan band. Go figure!

Lorrenna McKennit, Skinny Puppy, Mother Destruction, Fleetwood Mac, Ministry, Jethro Tull, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, Obituary...my musical tastes run the gammut...there are many more but these are the first that come to mind.

I don't know which ones are pagan, I just listen to the music.

I also find that there is alot of music by people who believe differently than I do that really kicks ***
