god still hasn't revealed himself to me. guess he doesn't care about your prayers. do you know what the definition of insanity is? doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results. so in a sense those who keep praying that god will reveal himself to me are crazy? interesting... here's an idea. how about trying something else to get me to believe?

I must say GOD answer all my prayers. Let me explain.

Do I get everything I ask for? by no means. Sometimes GOD answers with a NO.

Do I get it when I want it? No. Sometimes GOD says Wait.

The BIBLE say GOD know what is best for us and like a loving father HE has no problem saying no to us.

funny you should cite that insanity thing while using a computer. The fact is that doing the same thing over and over on a computer does yield different results. Since it's true on the "Satan box" why can't prayer yield different results each time. BTW: maybe the answer to your prayer was "no".

James 1: 12 - 15

Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

2 Peter 3: 8 - 10

"However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief."

what kind of a God would He be if He felt compelled to act according to YOUR schedule? that's what faith is all about. one day everyone is going to see God -- you have to pick your side before that. besides, He already did reveal Himself to us -- through Christ. Also, in the quite likely event that you haven't read the Bible, it tells us that when we ask something of God, we must believe it will happen . . . you obviously have already decided that God isn't going to answer you.

You have to gain peace through him in faith first. That's calle trusting Him. You clearly aren't communicating that kind of trust. You expected Him to act in your time frame. That's a common mistake. If you want to know God, that's Him guiding you to Him. But if you are going to tempt Him, He has been known to reject that notion.

The only way to God is through Jesus christ. I know that sounds like the common line, but its true. Just because you didn't experience God doesn't mean that I didn't. You have only the proof that you required, I have recieved the truth that He wanted to give me.

Sorry about that chap.

It seems to me that you are the one that is not allowing God to reveal Himself to you. You are mocking God by this, so He will not reveal Himself to you. I know one time that He will, when Jesus returns- and you will see Him as He is- KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS- seek God "while" He may be found. I pray you seek God.

Maybe it isn't our prayers. Perhaps it is you. No offense but you need to WANT to change and accept God's answer in order to recieve it.
Insanity is trying to figure out God's will for your life on your own without guidance and direction from Him.

He will not do watever you want, you have to also listen to Him. Also, He might not be revealing himself because the type of heart you have about this.

ERM.....! excuse me.

Why would I be praying for you to believe?

Don't you think I have more things to do in life than to pray for other people to believe in things that they don't even understand?

you can never pray for that! belief is internal and only you can reach that? only you canr each a state of belief.

To be honest with you, you must be 'helled' with belief, or you wouldn't be bothering yourself with this stupid question.

People who don't truly believe in something will not even think about the thing they don't believe. As from the moment you realize that you don't believe in something, you are already believieving in that thing. DO you get this?

For example: you say you don't believe in GOD. OK that's fine. I say you believe in GOD because, if you didn't believe in GOD you would even thik about it/him/her. The simple thought of it wouldn't even cros your mind in a million years.

BUT you do believe in GOD from the moment you think you don't believe in it/him/her. The simple fact that you say you don't believe in GOD you are creating a side of GOD in your reality, a side that says that GOD must exist becasue 'I am not believing in it'.

Do yourself a favour: if you don't believe in GOD stop thinking about GOD, you'll save time for yourself and save the human conscious of other people who believe in GOD. And if GOD really exists you are also wasting its/his/her time with your non-beliefs.

If I was GOD I would punish every person that think about me and then say they don't believe. F***ing ignorants.
