I was wondering if anyone knew how to make photos look like that or if there is a tutorial somewhere? They look heavily photoshopped... I would like to learn how to do this with my own photos.

There is certainly some post production there. The method I've seen is to create a duplicate layer, put it in "overlay" mode, and blur it slightly, then dial back the opacity to taste.

But I want to also make the point that most of what you see there is the lighting. This guy is an expert at studio lighting (including additional lights/reflectors for outdoor work). He's using fairly standard equipment, but in a creative way. He likes gold reflectors to give it the warm look.

And then of course there are the models, and they are pro. They know how to pose. All these things make a big difference! You may get frustrated if you take an average looking person, photograph them with a basic portrait lighting setup, and expect to get this kind of look via Photoshop.

I recommand you to use Google Picasa to manage and edit your pictures.

Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups.

Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized. Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share your pictures ¨C you can email, print photos at home, make gift CDs, instantly share via Hello™, and even post pictures on your own blog.

free download in here, just have a try:

well i think alot of it is the blurring of the skin what you can do is

ctrl+J to duplicate the layer

image->adjustments->posterize (set it to around 7)

ctrl+shift+U (to saturate)

set the top layer to OVERLAY

filter->blur->gaussian blur (make it so you can barely see detail)

and there should be a pretty good model look

message me or something if it doesnt work out well for you or have any questions

There are many good schools that have excellent photography classes.

You can search on line, too. Many photographers have shared their techniques.

The rest is practice, trial and error.

Good luck.
