just wait until she's 18...can't be that long of a wait. at my age, 2 years is not a big difference. nor is 2 years when it's 20 and 18, but there are certain ages where it makes a huge difference and this is one of them, another is when one turns 21 while the other is still 19. or when one is 23 and the other turns 21...probably until you're both older than 24 or 25, 2 years is a huge difference.

Dating is fine, sexual contact is iffy. Most places have an age of consent of 18, but some have it as 16. But just be safe and stick with 18.

Texas laws are crazy but to answer your question I think you are fine because by Texas Laws at 17 you are an adult you just can't buy cigs or beer.

I know in australia the legal age is 16... im pretty sure its legal... you just cant record porn and spread them out if they are under 18 though. hehe... true.
