Sometimes you have to let your kids make mistakes in order for them to learn from them.When you sheild your kid from the real world they'll be clueless and naive to all the bull crap life throws at them.

My mother told me that about my son.

well, i've always thought and been told that being someone's friend is all about understanding and listening to them and always being willing to make sacrifices for them. Of course, go have fun with them and stuff - that's what friends do best!
But don't be a fairweather friend - those are the worst.

Well, I have a piece of advice that I think covers all of those categories...do unto others as you would want done unto you.

Wow. It's such a simple concept, but one that is not much-practiced these days. (sigh).

for being a sister they tell me to love passinate and to be there for my younger brother and protect him from danger or harms way
