Also, did you claim your free YahooAnswers tote bag at the beginning of this YA environment promotion? Has anyone won one of the special light bulbs for best answer?

It is a point system and different levels will have incentive/promo's at different times.
Also besides the links that people have listed, yahoo will send information to you via email.

If you are level 2 or above and make the green pledge you get a bag. Lightbulbs for best answers too right now. for Xmas they gave out gifts to those who requested them based on your level.
I've won a few lightbulbs I expect. I haven't seen anything on them yet. Someone siad they are not mailing lightbulbs, only coupons for lightbulbs.

Yep, only for special promotions, not for levels.
Last December, we did get stuff if we signed up, depending on our levels, like coffee mugs, sweaters, hats. And this link is where you sign up:

i got a sticker or something last year for being part of their first year. And i did sign up for the totebag but i haven't recieved a vote for best answer so i haven't gotten one of the bulbs.
but i just like this place cause it answers some great questions.
