I'd make an appointment for them to join you at the doctor's office so the doctor can help you explain it to them. It might be too hard for you to tell them alone, and they might not believe you given your age and the disease. Don't be afraid, and let them get a second opinion if they think it's a good idea. It's okay to lean on your parents right now - that's what they're there for :) Good luck!!

The fact that you're only 14 makes me wonder if you've actually been diagnosed by a doctor without your parents knowledge. Is it just that you have a lump and have assumed it's cancer. There can be many reasons for lumps in the breast and most of them not serious. Whatever is happening with you, you must tell your parents. Just tell them you have a lump and you're a bit worried.

How do you know that you have Breast Cancer? You need your Mom with you when you go to the doctor and besides if a doctor told you he is obligated to notify your parents since you are a minor.
So what is your problem.

The doctor would do that. Do you have a lump and you think you may have breast cancer? May not be that at all. With you being underage this isnt something that a doctor typically wouldnt talk to your parents about!!!

Your parents should already know as it is VERY hard for a minor to seek medical care without a parent or guardians permission. That being said, if they weren't with you at the doctor, you need to take them the doctor's diagnosis sheet and tell them what you were told.

Why would you think you have cancer? And IF you had cancer, why would your parents NOT know about it? You're only 14!
If you are mocking people who have breast cancer, you are sick in the head. Get help.
Good luck.

You can only be accurately diagnosed with cancer with a biopsy generally performed by a pediatric oncologist. You would need your parents permission in order have a biopsy and be treated. If you have cancer. Your parents know.

if the diagnosis has been confirmed and u dont want to talk directly to your parents, your doctor can do it for u....u just need to tell the doctor about it and he/she with be more than willing to help you.
if u feel that u must tell them yourselves, but u just dont know how or where to start, you could again ask your doctor to arrange kind of a meeting of u and parents in the presense of the doctor in his/her office or something.....there, your doctor could start the conversation and u could deliver the news whenever u feel comfortable.
good luck...!

You're a minor and the doctor would have to explain it to them since they would need their consent to treat you.
