I was watching Most haunted on ftn the other day, and I was just wondering he says he meets ghosts like that are 'lonley and sad' but im just wondering so if there are ghosts there obviosully is a God cause afterlife cant just ahppen, so im wondering to all you ghost believers why people turn into ghosts instead of go to heaven, hell or pugatory.

I'm a catholic, so I believe in God. I don't know whether to believe in ghosts or not, it doesn't seem right, Yes the Holy ghost, but ghosts in genral, friends have claimed to see them, but It's still kinda unclear to me.

i do believe in them, i have had encounters with two, one whome i knew in life. he died a year or two before i saw his spirit. im cathlic too and the explanation that the prist gave me is that he might be seeking for forgivness and needs me to pray for him, or just simply had some kind of affection for me and that might explain why i had dreams of him and seen his spirit.

many come back because they have unfinished debts to pay of before they can have eternal rest or just simply to recieve the forgiveness of god for them to be allowed into heaven. some explain to me that this is part ot the pugatory. their soul are not in rest and need to be prayed for so they can rest.

other give the explanation that the person did not know they died and they stay here beacuse they think they are still alive. this usually occures to those who have very rapid trajic deaths. you should look up peter, i dont remember his last name. but if you look up "queen mary" over at long beach they might still have something about him on their page

I have seen what could be called ghosts. After careful considerationI have come to belief in the theory that they are not what most people think that they are. I believe that they are typically demonic manifestations, not the soul of someone human.

What they are interested in doing is throwing off the order of things. They want to confuse people by presenting themselves as souls of humans in order to give people a reason to believe that something happens to the soul other than what the Bible says.

You do not have to believe in God/Gods/Goddesses to believe in ghosts. If there is a component to humanity that is energy-based, that is not currently observable or understood by science, and that is capable of surviving beyond the death of the physical host, then it is indeed possible for there to be ghosts without a Higher Power.

Mind you, I believe in both, but it isn't required (in the sense of being rhetorically consistent) that one believe in both.

I don't believe in ghosts but I do believe in angels and demons. I see ghosts as nothing more than angels that come to comfort or demons that wreck havoc, pretty much the two prime ghost categories.
