Do they keep dispute history in ones credit file? There has to be a way of them tracking past disputes, right?!?!?!

Yes, they keep credit disputes in your credit file. The only way to get an item removed from your credit file is for you to prove that it is entirely inaccurate. However, the fact that you disputed something is part of your credit history.
