Sounds like you have the exact same problem I had back when I was in school. It was so bad, that no one would even go out with me for fear that I might take them to a race. I just basically ignored them. Ironically, most of them came around, and are now NASCAR fans. Of course, this was all long, long before Jeffy, Tony, and all the others that are most fan's favorites.
What gets me is these morons on here spouting off that they hate NASCAR. If you morons hate NASCAR, why are you even answering questions in the NASCAR section? Go get a life!

I think it's great that you are a Nascar fan, but it's not the most important thing you should be thinking about. You should really pay more attention in school, maybe then you'd learn to spell nobody.

Firstly, do you know what the acronym N.A.S.C.A.R. stands for???
Listen kid, keep it to yourself, I love engines and Muscle cars of the '70's and '60's and the NASCAR engines put out almost 800 horse power I really enjoy NASCAR. A lot of people think of it as a 'redneck' sport and kids in school are cruel to begin with. If you are individual and outside of what others like they will mess with you. DON'T try to make them like it, just leave them alone. Write a letter to your favorite driver... unless its Tony Stewart he is a punk, in my well thought opinion. USE THE SPELL CHECK ALSO.

Seriously, who really cares what everyone else thinks. And don't mind everyone here who just puts NASCAR down for being a redneck sport for idiots. For me to fit into their stereotype of a NASCAR fan, I'd have to burn my college degree, and bang my head against a wall to lower my IQ 80pts.

Wow...ok I'm assuming that you are very young so I won't say anything bad. Just because people don't like something, doesn't mean you can't. That's why America is America and why we have freedoms. You can choose to like what you like and choose to dislike what you dislike. Just continue to be a NASCAR fan, you'll make it.

nobody in my school likes nascar either. that's why i come on this website. so i can talk to people who do like nascar. i've made a lot of friends through this site who are diehard nascar fans like me.
