My little 18 month old got into a local water park here with a regular diaper but they supplied us with a plastic cover-up for her diaper.

As already mentioned, it depends on the facility policy. Some require, as does our local pool, a swim diaper plus a plastic swim cover worn over the swim diaper. Those plastic covers, if required, can typically be purchased at the facility for a larger than life fee or you can find out ahead of time & buy a cutie one at Target.
They do not have to be potty trained to go into public poos/water parks.

most that i have gone to children under 4 have to wear a swim diaper potty trained or not. look up your water parks website and call them or if your lucky and its a huge park like water country usa in virginia then its posted on the site. i am in sc and kids 3 years and under have to wear a swim diaper and any kid not toilet trained has to wear one. this is so no pee or poo gets in the pool, and because young kids who are trained get busy playing and forget my son is four and still wears a swim diaper at the waterpark

Most of the ones I have been too require swim diapers, so I doubt it would be a problem for you. You might want to ask at the individual pool though

Depends on the pool/parks policy. Check before you go. The swim diapers do work great, though.

I think it depends on the pool/park.
Most cruises require that your child is potty trained.

It depends on the facility call ahead first. Our public pool allows it but only in the kiddy pool unless they are under 2 and with an adult then they can have them in the big pool.

Yes...as long as they are wearing swim diapers, it is perfectly fine.
