Yeah Michie, I don't know why this is such a hot question, but it has been asked like four times this past week. Anyway, I'm sure they...um...relieve themselves as much as possible before the race. If they have to during the race...I guess they just go. But, just to throw a little anatomy in, when they have adrenaline pumping as hard as they do during a race, the adrenaline activates thier sympathetic nervous systems, causing the release of ADH (anti-diuretic hormone), which, without getting too technical, makes them not have to go. Also, they sweat profusely during the race, which also aids in bodily fluid reduction.
This is all if I remember correctly...I'm not a doctor, yet.

many times, a motive force can carry it. in case you think of roughly it, variety of four-5 hours isn't an rather long term to hold it. because of the fact drivers might desire to proceed to be hydrated for the period of the race however, there is an threat they may well be confronted with having to alleviate themselves for the period of the race, including I keep in mind Dale Earnhardt Jr. doing at a race 2 or 3 years in the past (possibly Chicagoland?). additionally, a motive force could actual be distracted sufficient for the period of the race to in no way observe that he has to pass, regardless of how undesirable. As a racecar motive force myself, I even have pushed for hours at a time and then gotten out of the motor vehicle purely to understand that I had to pass to the bathing room incredibly undesirable yet hadn't observed earlier. If a motive force notices he has to pass to the bathing room, it may incredibly be under a warning flag.

Are you for real with this question? Do you ever see any of the drivers get out of the car during a race to use the restrooms? Of course not, they would loose laps while they were in there. They just have to hold it until the race is over.

With the extremely hot temperatures inside the vehicle as well as the insulation of their firesuits, drivers do quite a bit of sweating inside the car. Under normal circumstances, the sweat is enough to keep them from needing to use the restroom.

actually with the heat and the excursion they are more worried about putting in hydration than taking it out. most drivers lose several pounds of water weight during the typical race and they don't have excess fluid in their bodies to pee out.

They sweat out the fluids, instead of the regular way. It's like 140 or so in the car.

They don't. They make sure to go before the race, and they get just enough water or Gatorade or whatever to stay hydrated. They sweat a *lot* in those cars.

No, they do not. Theres is really no time for it. The races don't last more then 4-5 hours. Which isn't that long of time. They do, however, have water in car with them. Or Gaterade...or bud, who ever the hell sponser pays the most. Anyway, they do not pee incar.

You should ask David Stremme. I think he filled up his firesuit during the race yesterday, I know both Jr and Smoke have when they've been sick before.
