No - I perceive his levitical commandment of capital punshiment as promoting justice and equality!
His own commandment was (VI): Thou shalt not commit murder). He is not a God of pluralism in duality - that concept is contradictory from His "Word" to His "Being".
That commandment was to promote social harmony!

Torah and the Tanakh were written during brutal times when violent death was common. That and history books tend to focus disproportionately on the wars.
It's been a long time since. Jewish law has changed. And so has our view of the divine.
