I sure would not begin to think that I could speak for Jesus. I do know that in the bible it says he forgives us many many times. He would probably say, I absolve you, go and sin no more. Go to confession and receive holy communion. He is really there. This is really, literally the true body and blood of Jesus. He is therefore in you, and you in him. How much closer than that can we get to Jesus?

Read the Bible. Any time somebody confessed their sins to Jesus he would (1) forgive them, (2) usually give them a penance to perform, (3) tell them to not sin anymore.

There are people who confess sins and there are the ones who hide them. Jesus already can see us and knows what we are doing and thinking and he is pleased when we want to do better and change..only those who obey God..will receive everlasting life.

Here I thought that Jesus was the intercessor and you confessed your sins to the FATHER...

Ya' learn something new every day!

The examples that we have indicate that he would probably say:

"Go your way and sin no more"
(or words to that effect.)
.

I think I would be very ashamed to tell Jesus my sins face-to-face.

I try to be a good Christian, but it is very hard sometimes. And knowing all Jesus went through for me, i would be ashamed at all the sins I have committed.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteouess."

God understands why we make the mistakes and decisions we make. He wants us to reconcile with Him.

Jesus would probably say, "Okay, now let's clean this mess up." (Whatever I had caused by my sin)

If you are face to face with Him, then it is too late to confess.

I do. And He says "I absolve you of your sins in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Go in peace, and sin no more".

According to the Word of God he would say "You are forgiven, go and sin no more."
