Always starts with a LIE!! They can't look u in the face and forget what time / place / where the hell they've been!!
Also good to check text msgs / e-mails / dial numbers on cell phone and received numbers -- if u think something's going on -- it probably is!!

Actually it is a kind of stupid question, one that gets asked dozens of times a day.
You can't tell unless they admit it or you actually catch them in the act. Anything else is just a guess on someones part.
