"The state has no place in the bedrooms of the nation."
Pierre Elliot Trudeau
Canadian Justice Minister, 1967
He also said, "What's done in private between adults doesn't concern the Criminal Code."
That should include religion, and those who use religion as a cover for their own half-baked opinions - bigotry hiding behind a Bible.

Some people think that if you are not like them then they have to know what you are up to because it will affect them somehow. Its a load of crap and what two consenting adults do in the bed room is their own damn business and no one else. But it seems that some people think the right to privacy only applies to people that have a like mind with them.
With Paris Hilton I think people just get caught up in the media frenzy and only care because the media tells them to care. the number of people with original thoughts any more is a rare thing.

Right you are. I have enough business of my own to worry about and need not interfere in others'. I blame the press and publicity managers for shoving these people down our throats when there are far more important issues to address. They day Paris, Ophrah, all the sports players and movie stars gay or straight worry about my life and bills, then I'll do likewise for them!

When people shut the door and do what they want, they shouldn't go and advertise what they do. Why try and corrupt other people's minds? What happens in your house should stay there. It is the sin of the act that is against the Bible.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear...I have always said that I do not care or even have the right to criticize what other people do in the privacy of their own closets.

Blatant homosexuality is spilling over into our society as 'normal' when in fact....it is NOT normal or healthy....or the way God intended it to be.
When they were all in the closet, we were much better off.....
Now they are invading my tv, my newspaper, my shows.....

It's called bigotry and hatred. Believing that it is wrong is one thing, but being hateful and nasty about it is another. They do not practice what their religion preaches.
