actually Holy Spirit. Although King Arthur save and establish peace Britain from the barbarian,pirates, Saxon and etc during the dark ages the British people didn't regard him as a prophet but as a hero. He encounter a similar problem that Muhammad encounter

Why do Arabs regard Muhammad as a prophet just because he was a hero

God created people to "follow", we all have a certain drive to find a higher power than ourselves. The problem people encounter, I believe is because believing in God requires faith. Believing in the unseen and unheard is very difficult. It is easier to follow flesh and blood that is a hero or a person of great knowledge, or a great warrior depending on the culture. Also, these "false prophets" lead people away from God and Satan loves nothing better. Remember, Adam had the authority over the earth and everything here. When he sinned, he gave it to Satan and Satan only has a short time and he is trying to get to God through hurting the ones He loves. This is my belief of why we "drink the Kool-aid" too often.
