I had a baby in december and i am the same weight that i was at 9 months pregnant. i havent lost any of it...and its really starting to get to me. i have gained about 40 pounds and my self confidence has dramatically decreased. so my question is...what exercises can i do to get my tummy back and to lose weight? I'm also getting married and I want to be back in the size 12 dress that i was before i got pregnant, im currently a size 18!

Bottom line, eat a healthy well-balanced diet, and exercise 5 days a week (1 hr a day).

I tried all sorts to shift my baby weight, I have tried several of the leading diet brands and the one I had the best results with was with Shapeworks/Herbalife. find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

If you can swim ,do it every day. Will help your mussels get shape and after swim eat fruits.For dinnermake salad and add vinegar with vegetable oil to it and only it that salad
or eat grape. proses of losing weight will start slowly then
after 2 week will be faster don't forget massage your skin
with lotion after swimming to keep your skin smooth during
losing weight.
