Why is it that Guys tell you what they think you want to hear instead of telling you what they feel. I am a true believer that we all will get our feelings hurt, one way or another, so why is it that they feel like they have to lie so that they dont hurt you. But if you think about it, if they tell you they love you and that they miss you and then they disappear that hurts more then just telling me the truth. Help me to understand please.

as horrible as this sounds, but its true..... its done beacuse it works. guys know if they say things you want to hear, you will be happy. as long as you think its how they really feel. and to me thats not right, but women do it too. im all about being honest, lies get me no where. even when the truth hurts, i still tell it.

The honest truth?
It's because women lie to men. They ask them questions that they don't really want the answer too, and then get mad. They tell them: "I won't get mad, just tell me the truth" and then get mad. It's because you guys get mad when we tell you the truth. You get your feelings hurt when well tell the truth. It's because you think less of us when we tell the truth.
You give us no reason to believer you and every reason to not tell you by your actions afterward. In other words, you have trained us that way over the years.

ok ! guys believe that if they tell you what you want to hear that the'll avoid a confrontation with there loved one, and leave it at that but it never does and then it turn s into morebut uts not done on porpuse guys have been programmed from birth that they have to be in control and by this they remain in control because depending on what they say the already know how you will react but if they state the truth they dont know how you will react

Get us in trouble our little white lies so we try not to any more. Sis comes home with new cloths she asks "do you like em"... hmmm no. Doesn't think it is just guys that do it people in general do it. If I want to hide something I just don’t mention it or bring it up. If I get cornered with a direct question I will answer. Optimistically I tell you what you want to hear because I want to put your interests ahead of my own. Pessimistically I tell you what you want to hear because I am trying to manipulate you into doing what I want.
