is skipping a good exercise and how many calories does it burn?n does it bulid muscle or loose fat? because i want an exercise for my legs that will burn fat but not build to much muscle and burns alot of calories if skipping in the best wot is?

Depends on how long and how fast you do it. You can go to this site and see a list of activities and how many calories are burned if you do them for "x" amount of time.

If you are female, you cannot build "too much muscle" so don't worry. We don't have the right hormones for that. Exercise for us burns calories or tones/firms our muscles...the more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism (but we can't bulk up, so don't worry).

Boxers skip for agility and cardio, and yes it is a great way t burn fat. In 1 hour, you'll burn 600-800 calories depending on your height and weight.

walking, skipping, running, jumping, swimming are all good exercise. Yes, you can burn lots of calories depending on how far and fast you skip.

guess it would depend how fast and how long u skipped - but keep it up, all exercise is good
try something else sometimes - swimming and cycling are good too!

Depends on how many skips, the weather outside, your leap ratio, how much you weigh, your height, your stride length, and the duration of skipping.

It's pretty confusing, stick to running.
