The best way to resolve this is to see gyno as a you can....its the only way to be sure if it is or isn't serious!

Hey there. I honestly know how you feel being freaked out! When I was like 12 or something I also had some sort of a strange lump or skin growth when I checked, but it turned out to be nothing. I think it was just my unbroken hyman. Im pretty sure that you can get cervical cancer at any age, but you and I are both 15 and I think its pretty unlikely! I know how freaky it is, but for now just try going to WebMD or some other professional medical health sites and look up the signs of cervical cancer and other diseases. Oh yah, and your cervex is way way in the back so I dont think there would be lumps part way in on the side! But yeah, like I said just go to some sites that will help you and give you peace of mind. I was worried once too, but I got over it and I bet you will too! Hope this helps and take care :)

First of all, your cervix is way too far back for you feel unless you are a contortionist. But, it does sound like you should go get a pap smear. The ob/gyn will be able to tell you want you should feel and not feel. Remember, your body should feel just about the same way every month at the same time. But your period/hormones can change things. Also, cancer doesn't grow overnight. So, if this is a sudden lump, than it is probably something else.
Get it checked out. Good for you for asking a hard question, follow thru and make an appointment with a professional!
Good luck!

It is probably a swollen lymph node which can be caused by a variety of things. Have you recently had the HPV vaccine? This is a common side-effect of that immunization.

It could also just be a muscle, ligament, or part of your pelvis. It would be best to talk to your mother about it and get seen by an OB/GYN if it is something that you are worried about. Bottom line, don't think the worst right off the bat. There is a least 20 other things that it could be other than cancer.

what you are feeling is more likely just a bartholin's gland, those are the glands that produce vaginal mucous for lubrication and they tend to swell a bit prior to the onset of menses. If you haven't started your periods yet, that is most likely why you have that little lump. After you have your period, be sure to have your mom take you to a gynecologist for a check up to make sure all is well.

Might be your G-spot. I'm not joking.

Anyway, I think you're being excessively scared, and that's no way to go through life. Nobody's perfect.

Remember, most people never get cancer.

Most likely its your cervix, but get a pap smear to check to see if your cell readings are normal.

probably not... normally the surface is a bit 'bumpy' -- if it itches or gives you trouble you can get it checked out....
