According to the current Watchtower magazine, which this very polite Jehovah lady left me, the sins of the father are not necessarily replicated in the son – because of this crazy little concept called free will. Said magazine later claims that people only grow old because of original sin. Which is it, Witnesses? Which? Huh?
Tell you what: my great great grandpapper may have been a white, slave-owning aristocrat, or he may have been a poor shanghaied Africaner turned slave. Do I feel responsible for the actions of either? Horseapples, of course not! Both men are my progenitors. I am equally responsible for the actions of both, i.e., not at all.

Jesus has been dead for like two hundred years, folks, maybe three hundred. You may think he's talking to you, but he simply isn't.
Tell me this: if he IS talking to you, what does he say in that still, small voice when the two of you are together? Does he whisper sweet nothings? I hope he does.
Answer THAT.

Dear Billy,

You are not anonymous in the heavenly Father's eyes! He knows everything about you and He loves you so much that if you were the only sinner on the face of the earth Jesus still would have gone to the cross to make it possible for you to be put into a right Relationship with our Father.

Please find a Bible-believing church near you and go talk to the pastor.

First of all the original sin was not committed by Christ. Secondly, Christ was crucified dead and buried -- then arose on the third day ... meaning is is not dead. Ours is a God of the living. This resurrection transpired over two thousand years ago.

We have free will because God did not want to create a bunch of automatons programmed to tell him we love him. He wants our love to be 'from us.'

I am of the opinion that The Trinity speaks through it's third aspect -- The Holy Spirit. You are expecting conversation as people speak to each other.

Cross dimensional existentialism is not governed by earthly sets of rules. Faith requires that thinking occur 'outside the box.'

You obviously have not talked with someone who knows the Lord.

Let me tell you that first of all, JW's do not believe the Bible for if they knew the Bible, they would know that Jesus is

ALIVE

and will be alive

FOREVERMORE.

This is

MY

Jesus. He is the one who is my brother, and his Father and my Father has provided me with eternal life through the sacrificial death of Jesus. I can choose to live free from sin and therefore do

NOT

have to sin. I have peace of mind, have

ALL

of my

NEEDS

supplied, have joy unspeakable and full of glory

EVEN

when I am

FEELING

not all that great or totally down, I love the Lord with all of my heart, soul, mind and spirit, I have other brothers and sisters, I have a home when the world will be destroyed, I have hope, my Father (God) and my brother (Jesus), is has no respect of persons which include a person's color, complexion, and race.

one time i didn't know the answers to my civics test and i prayed and prayed right there in class during the test because i didn't originally study enough... was this MY original sin??

so i'm there... praying... praying... pray...

nothing

i'm praying some more... there's three questions on this exam, and i was only able to flub my way through one answer.. so i'm still praying...

praying...

it was then that the clock's ticking in the classroom ceased.. the sniffling, humming, grunting, and shuffling of fellow students dropped from my perception... the oppressive flourescent lighting dimmed, and i felt surrounded by a warm, comforting essence...

I could not see, yet i was not blind... I could not hear, yet i was not deaf.. I could not touch or feel my surroundings, yet i was not numb... for the first time in my life I understood how completely powerless and vulnerable I am in this world.... at the same time, I felt assured that I was loved and that everything would be alright...

From the depths of my being, these words entered my heart, and forged themselves into my consciousness...

"On a mission start to doubt.here we go
Kicking back, read these words we need to know
Living high,living good,living long
Take a minute,bust a prayer
And you're good to go

That's word,we pray(pray) ah,yeah,pray
We need to pray
Just to make it today
I need to pray(pray),ah,yeah,pray
We need to pray
Just to make it today
That's word,we pray

We're sending this one out to the Lord
And we thank you and we know we need to pray
Cause all the blessings that are good they come from above
And once again we want
To say "thank you" to the Lord with all our love"

Next thing I know the bell rings, and I go to my next class.

Teacher says I failed because I fell asleep during the exam.

Thanks a lot........ jeez.....

Jesus has been dead for two hundred years? He lived two thousand years ago. He still lives today but if you're going to make an ignorant comment about his death, at least know when it happened. And the original sin committer was Adam, not Jesus.

First off Jesus NEVER committed a sin. The original sin was committed by Adam and Eve. Secondly Jesus was crucified and resurrected 2000 years ago. This goes to show how confused and corrupt the Jehovah's witnesses are and in their teachings.

What did Jesus do for you? First off Jesus is God in the flesh. He gave you life. He offers you the gift of eternal life with Him in heaven. This gift came from Jesus being crucified for our sins. He resurrected and gave us this gift. He did it so you would not have to pay eternally for your own sins and have eternal life in the Lake of Fire.

Maybe when people say they're 'praying' they're trying to reach within themselves, and find out solutions to their problems. Maybe they know there isn't a little voice talking to them from the sky, but they believe that if they look deep down they will find the solution to their problem, and they call this talking to God because they believe God gave them the ability to come upon this if they just look deep enough. Why is this sort of meditation prominent in nearly ALL religions, answer THAT. I'm an atheist and I meditate. Who cares what you call it?

You're very confused. God and Jesus had nothing to do with original sin - that was Adam. Jesus dead for 200 years? Ummmm....maybe closer to 2000 would work - 2007 A.D. - Anno Domini - mean anything?

Jesus didn't commit original sin or any sin. He was the only man to lead a sinless life. Adam and Eve are the perpetraitors of the original sin.

Additionally, we grow old because of the passage of time. Adam and Eve grew older each day they lived in the Garden. We die because of original sin.

You still reading that cult publication? (!!!)
Pick up your Bible and start reading it, Bub.
Jesus did not commit the original sin. His death on the cross was 2,000 years ago, not 200. Do you have any context of history, time, and FACTS?
Jesus is alive today. He rose from the dead.
What's Jesus done for you today?
He allowed you to take your next breath, and used it to defile His name and His glory.
Colossians 1:17 "And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
He's coming again in glory and in power to judge mankind; are you ready?
