I have three Yorkies. You can give them the best food because they don't eat much. Don't get large bags of Kibble ( I use Merrick) it goes bad before you can use it all. I use wet food mixed with the dry food for morning. For wet food I use Wellness, Paul Newman, Merrick, etc. These you have to get from a Pet store, not Petco or Petsmart, they do not carry those foods. I get mine from an Agway. You will need to feed them 2x a day. Their stomachs are too small hold only one big meal. Beneful is not that good for them. Look at the ingredients. First should be meat, there should be no corn or fillers. no byproducts. Nature's Balance (wet) is another one I use if I have to go to Petco or Petsmart. Here are the ingrendients: Beef liver, beef broth, feef, carrots, oat Brand, brown rice, potatoes, canola olil , then lots of vitamins. That's it. Dry Kibble should have about the same. Sometimes there will be some fruit too.Dry kibble is important because Yorkies are famous for bad teeth, as they get older.

Steer well clear of the commercial tinned foods. Your best (and safest) option is a diet of cooked chicken with, perhaps, a helping of a top quality dry food such as Royal Canin or Burns. Royal Canin actually produce a 'Yorkshire Terrier' variety. My 'boys' enjoy a little helping of Bakers 'small dog' dry variety in the afternoon.
Fussy eaters will usually respond to a little grated cheese on their food. Mine enjoy a small amount of cottage cheese mixed into their chicken.
Chicken is what my vet recommends; he is totally opposed to tinned foods because of the additives they contain. I suggest you try them on the chicken and make sure it's really 'tasty' for them. Grated cheese is a life-saver, believe me!
Good luck and don't give up!!!

The answer "they'll eat when they are hungry" is horrible advice to go by, because your yorkies' small size makes them prone to hypoglycemia when they do not eat. As a supplement, give Nutrical or Nutristat, available at most pet retail stores. You can also give small amounts of lowfat plain yogurt, and cottage cheese.
Yorkies can be picky eaters, so find a high quality food (I feed Royal Canin, but its not the best) that they like. Even better, you could find a good recipe to home-cook. Make sure you get your vets opinion on the composition of this recipe however, because it is easy to feed too much protein.

When we first got our yorkshire she would not eat either. It is usually nerves that cause them not to eat. Have you had any changes lately? ex. - moved, just got them, any other animal or human they were close to pass away? If so, once they begin to get used to the situation they should start to eat again. For our dog it was about 2-3 days. I would suggest that you try mixing some chicken with their dry food (cooked, not raw) or just try giving them cut up pieces of chicken by itself. Another option is to change their food. My dog will only eat certain brands such as Iams small toy.

Try different brands of dog food. Don't be tempted to give cat food as they don't have the same diet. Give each product a chance. They will eat something, eventually.

All doggies like raw chicken (uncooked bones are safe- cooked bones pose a choking hazard). Rice, veg, any meat, same as most dogs. NO cheese (especially blue cheeses or brie-types) NO chocolate (that said, having been warned chocolate is poisonous to all dogs, mine ate a whole bar of Cadbury's wthout ill-effects, perhaps more a statement on Cadbury's than whether it is poisonous to doggies or not).
