My husband is only 4'11" and I am 5'6". We have been married for almost 8 years. It was unusual at first because the man I dated before my husband and I met was a lot taller than me. But now it is as normal as could be. The only thing I have to remember is to not put anything up very high in the kitchen, which I sometimes do without thinking about it. We have two children by the way who are both on the small side. I think it's just a matter of preference and trust me, there are lots of women out there who wouldn't mind a shorter man at all!!

Not if he had the defensive ego of most 5-foot guys I've known. There's a cliche about short-guy syndrome. Asking if I could "handle" it sounds pretty classic.
On the other hand, one of the most laid-back, good looking, modest guys I've met was 5'2" and yeah, I could handle being seen with a guy that much shorter than me, if he was that cool.

I am a small girl so I prefer tall men, but a guy that is just 5ft is fine. Providing that he treated me right and that we had a good time together that is the most important thing

It's probably recommended that you carry a stack of yellow pages around with you to be honest. In fairness though I must admit my brother is a short a*s and he's had much better luck with the ladies than I. Really it's all about personality - I have size, he's has charisma and charisma seems to win hands down.

I am not attracted to shorter guys. I am almost 5'10" so the chances of me getting involved with a shorter guy are not really there. So there fore I couldnt handle it. If for some reason however I fell in love with the guy before I knew his height then yes, I would accept it.

In other words you can not make your self taller but can make yourself bigger.

Too short, I had a great friendship with a guy that could have turned into something more but as vain as it sounds, I couldn't get over his height.

ummmmm well me personally i am very tall so i could not hope that does not make me a bad person but there are plenty of people who are short that it would not bother. i must say though if you had a massive personality i could recommend you to a friend x
