My bf is getting me an engagement ring, I think he is having trouble getting the one he has picked sized. Does anyone have a smaller finger than this? What did you have to do when you got your rings??

He might be able to get you a deal :) Lots of older ladies have small hands and I saw a amazing ring on clearance that was a size 4..... I don't think he will have a problem... they may just have to make it custom or order it. My friend has the same size finger... they order her a 4 and cut it down.

Two of my sisters are a 4. With a regular style of ring, there shouldn't be any trouble getting a ring made smaller, but that may be the case if there is a specific design on it, or if there are diamonds all around. Not a prob for a solitaire or one with shoulder stones. If there is, a ring can always be ordered in the right size.

That is tiny! Though I have seen a size 2 1/2 in a jewelry store once. Get it custom made. My ring was and it really isn't that expensive to get it custom made. The hard part is if you like a ring that has diamonds around the edge (like an eternity band). But if its just a solitare there is no problem at all.

It is very difficult to get it in a regular size out of the case (usually around a 6 or 7) and getting it cut down. You are paying for a lot of gold that you aren't getting. Talk to them about ordering it in your size (4)--usually it will be cheaper and you are only paying for gold that is being used on your ring.

I have the same ring size and you can get it sized to fit, it just depends on the ring you want if it has a plain band then it shouldn't be a problem...but the ones I was looking at first they had diamonds going down the sides of the band and they said if I wanted that style then I had to get it custom made. I ended up getting a plain band solitare ring and absolutely love it!
Good Luck

My cousin is a size 2! She had to have her engagement ring and wedding band custom made for her at a jeweler. When she went back with her fiance to the jeweler to discuss the design of her wedding band, the sales associate said to her "so YOU ARE the bride with the tini finger" Apparently, eveyone was talking about how tini her finger was and that it was the smallest engagement ring they had the pleasure of designing!

I don't know what my size is in the USA, but in the UK I am a size H and a half. That's pretty small for an adult, I think a size J is about a size 5 in the USA so I reckon you and I have pretty much the same size fingers

I have size 4 fingers which is the smallest "standard" size. They can make rings to fit smaller fingers, but they are usually called "children's" sizes. I'm sure it can be done.

That is the size of my ring finger to. And they were able to size my ring to that size with no problem. Good Luck!

I'm 32 and my ring size is 3.75 as well. Any well-qualified jeweler can resize a ring to that size. My ring has diamonds and embellishments down the sides so we were concerned, but the guy did a fantastic job. Keep looking! If you are in a major city, or close to one, they usually have jewelry districts...those are your best bets.
