The maximum dose of paracetamol for an adult is 4g in a day. So, if you are taking the the 500mg paracetamol tablet, you should not take more than 8 a day. The dosing of paracetamol should be 1-2 tablets each time, not more than 4 times in a day.
The liver is responsible for the metabolism of paracetamol. Paracetamol will be converted to a metabolite which is toxic. This toxic metabolic is removed from the liver by a certain enzyme, but when paracetamol levels are high, there will be high levels of the toxic metabolic accumulating in the liver. So, when the number of the required enzymes is unable to cope to remove the toxic metabolic, it can cause liver damage.
So, it is advisable not to exceed the the recommended dose as it can cause liver damage.
Also, do not take alcohol with paracetamol as it can worsen the liver damage.
Hope i have answered your qns! =)

You should take no more than 8 per day, two at four hourly periods. You shouldn't still be taking them after 3 weeks, get yourself to a doctor or optician. You can end up with rebound headaches if you stop taking painkillers after taking them for a while.Too much paracetamol is bad for the liver and sometimes the effects can be irreversible so treat it sensibly, just because it is available over the counter doesn't mean it doesn't have the capacity to cause harm.

Read the patient information leaflet and would depend on the strength, risks include stomach ulcers and bleeding, kidney damage amongst other such pleasant things. Paracetamol whilst fairly innocuous should not be taken for protracted periods without consulting your GP. Not sure but 10 a day seems to be above the normal recommended dose. Go and see the doctor.

Paracetamol in excess can cause liver toxicity. I dont recommend that you keep taking 10 a day. If you still have headaches I'd see your doctor, as there could be an underlying cause and he/she can prescribe better medications for a headache than paracetamol, if needed.

If the directions on the jar says take two three times a day after each meal eg;2=breakfast 2=lunch 2=dinner,thats the limit. It really depends on how many grammes there are in the tablets. But you must drink plenty of water with them.

Hell yeah. Acetaminophen is the generic name for the commonly used pain reliever Tylenol. An overdose of this drug can cause liver damage with symptoms that include loss of appetite, tiredness, nausea and vomiting, paleness, and sweating. The next stage of symptoms indicates liver failure and includes abdominal pain and tenderness, swelling of the liver, and abnormal blood tests for liver enzymes. In the last stage of this poisoning, liver failure advances and patients become jaundiced, with yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes. They may also experience kidney failure, bleeding disorders, and encephalopathy (swelling of the brain)
