It's okay some are and some aren't, and some don't know that they're here for a reason. Don't knock it, we're not deluded, we're trying to help, if we're not helping you then you don't have to regard it as anything valid to you or apply it to your life.... just let it go and move on. Talk to your atheist friends and keep doing whatever it is that you do for whatever reason you are speaking here on R&S. Some people are here searching or seeking ....

"I'm here to do what I can to talk people out of believing in imaginary beings and afterlife concepts"
First off, brilliant, once again...
They are not imaginary to Christians. Once that supernatural change has taken place, scoffers like you can just give up. It's like you're campaigning for someone who's not even running.

Why don't you leave it alone?
You're making the mistake of assuming that none of us have ever been something other than a Christian, that we just took a blind leap of faith to become a Christian.
That may be true for some of us, but NOT all of us.
Why am I telling you this? Because there is NOTHING you can say to shake the faith of those of us who WERE atheists, but became Christians. NOTHING. So why waste your time?

It might have something to with the fact you come to a forum named R&S. I personaly don't want to convert you. But many fell they need to it makes them feel better about them selves. And it's a circle they try to convert you, you post questions we answer and goes on and on.

I think it has something to do with false hope, or they see these forums as being only for those with spiritual beliefs and thus if you are coming here you must be seeking spiritual guidance.
I for one like other atheist (i hope) just come here to have discussion and give my input to people questions in hope that it will stimulate thought.

Just ignore them. Some Christians just feel the need to preach to everyone, even other Christians.

cause the bible says to go out on the earth and help the "lost souls" and bring them back to the church so they try to do that. i know, frustrating.

Good question... I am an atheist... I don't want to convert anyone or be converted... My guess is that they think they are doing us some favor... or something like that...
