I don't know. I am not God, nor do I see things through His eyes. But I do know that the Church teaches that suicide is the ultimate expression of the sin of "Pride". Unless there is severe mental illness. I think that God understands such an imbalance and depression...and that a person is not held 100% accountable. But all will face the Judgment Seat...and all must make an account. I would not want to be that person on that day.
Where there is life....there is hope - Suicide solves nothing.

First, there is no such place as "hell" it is an invention of men and not a Biblical concept.
When a person commits suicide, they die and cease to exist. However, they will come up in a ressurection in God's own time for judgement. They will be facing the penalty for murder (they murdered themselves) as well as the penalties for whatever other sins that they committed.
At that time, because of the grace that we have from Yashua the Messiah (Yes, God understands! Understanding does not equal approval though.), God will give them an opportunity to repent and will heal their mental insatbility or whatever problem that they had and teach them to live God's way.
This goes for all those who have died without knowing God.
Those who willfully reject God's rule after that time will simply die and cease to exist forever.

God is simply a concept. An idea. A mythological figure. A concept, or a mythological figure cannot have eyes or a view on some philosophical topic such as you are suggesting here. People who kill themselves are either as you point out mentally unstable, suffering or in some state of unbearable pain. The are alive one moment and then gone from the world of existance. Hell is also a mythological place that doesn't exist in the real world. It is up to we humans to understand the lives and the deaths of other humans around us, our 'brothers and sisters', our cousins and our neighbors. If we are unable or unwilling to do this, no mythological god is going to fill in the gap. enjoy your day. be happy.

In God's eyes we are all his children. Nobody is exempted because we have been redeemed by the most precious blood of Jesus Christ. Regarding suicide in our modern times nobody knows what will happen to a person who commits suicide. The judgment is only reserved to God. It is God's desire that all men and women be saved. But he gave us the greatest gift of freedom. We use our freedom to the best of our enlightened decision in oder to please the Omnipotent God and Father.

It's a tough question to answer for you're asking us as mortals to know the mind of God. We cannot know that mind of God, but can obey His Word. In that vein, I'm inclined to believe that when a person kills themselves they go to Hell because suicide is murder of oneself! The problem is that though murder is forgivable in God's eyes, how can one get forgiveness for murdering oneself when they're ALREADY DEAD? You can't say "God forgive me" THEN pull the trigger, for until you pull that trigger, you've only committed the sin of THINKING about killing yourself, which is also forgivable as long as you're ALIVE to ask for forgiveness!

We are humans and, being curious (and having our share of pride without humility) we want to know what God thinks or what He would do. God is just but He does love us very much. Why would He create us if He didn't? Let's leave His actions and decisions on cases like this to Him. Trust God and love him - the rest will take care of itself.
