:'(i got a kodak c743 digital camera yesterday ... and it wont turn on i have tried changing the batteries .. turning the batteries round and everything i can do :( and it still doesnt work .. i got it from argos and they dont do refunds or returns :( it cost 100 quid and if i dont get it working then all that was a waste :( plz help im only 13 and my mum and dad will kill me if they find out its broken ... plzplzplzplz help ... thanks to everyone ..x..

I don't know much about that particular camera and I looked it up and none of the specs. said what type of battery it takes... Is it rechargeable? If it is..it needs to be recharged BEFORE you can use it.... Look in the instruction manual before you start to panic... Or if it takes regular batteries try new ones.. If indeed it is broken the store does have an obligation to exchange it for a new one, so keep your receipt and packaging. In the future if you are buying a camera, ask the salesperson to take it out of the box, put in the batteries and make sure it works....
