Hi im having some problems with an error that keedp showing hpqwmiex.exe every time i turn on the computer after everything loads im using windows vista home premium and i already used every possible program for it (registrybooster and stuff like that) so if any of you know how to get rid of this i would appreciate it thanks

In other words, find the protector tools option in your computer setup and turn it off.

hpqwmiex.exe is a process associated with HP ProtectTools security manager from Hewlett Packard.

If this program is installed, try going to the add/remove programs area in the control manage and repair it. If not, and if you have a disk, try re-installing it. If that can't be done, then remove it completely, it's obviously not working anyway.

You may need to reinstall windows vista.
