given that the continents are shifting only a few inches every year, it would be ridiculous to assume that they were close enough 6000 years ago for anyone to get from any place mentioned in the old testament and after the great flood to america. so, how did all the american indians get here?

Ignore the Old Testament -- it is not a reliable history of mankind. There was no worldwide great flood -- how could there be water that covered ALL the earth?

The native Americans are thought to have first entered North and South America by a coastal route and a land bridge that formerly connected North America with Eurasia. They probably had bosts for short trips so they did not need to use the land bridge. They are thought to have entered North America by at least 50,000 years ago and diversified into hundreds of culturally distinct nations and tribes.

They came from Eastern Asia across the Bering Land Bridge (Bering Strait today). Scholars believe they arrived in N. America between 12-14,000 years ago....yet artifacts are being verified now which date as far back as 20-25,000 years.

Edit: Between 1492 and 1892 an estimated 12 million Native American Indians were slaughtered or starved to death due to "Christian " expansion in the U.S.

* I had to add the death, starvation, slaughter fact...to stay in theme with R/S..:)

Try um "big boat across big water" There is evidence of colonies from the middle east in the americas as far back as the days of King Saul of Israel.

I'm pretty sure they weren't the only ones who knew how to sail. Most likely some people from the far east also developed the knack.

They were Muslim immigrants from Kasmir, Tibet, Thailand who migrated to America.

At least that's what Islamics will eventually say.
