Do u believe Richard Branson honest on supporting the green gas effect & Virgin line is the greenest?

* He launched his new project bof using only bussiness class planes for bussiness people.
* This will increase people to fly & increase the number of poluting planes in the sky.
* What he said by his tongue was contradicting what he meant in his mind!
* Word are easy to say , & it is easy to cheat people by them.
* PEOPLE BE MORE VIGILANT & DON'T BELIEVE EACH WORD PEOPLE SAY!!!

Can you say sell out? Do you want to really be a maverick environmentalist? Then think outside the box! Tele and cyber-conferencing is THE way to go. Business trips are a BOONDOGGLE!!! I would say that 95% of the "business" that needs to get done could be accomplished with state of the art conferencing systems. Politicians are the worst as taking useless junkets, followed closely by celebrities!

The lame excuse that people are always going to fly - flying for the masses only opened up over the last 60 years. It's not as if we can't figure out another paradigm.

Branson's committment to environmental work is thouroughly documented. While you are trying to smear a man who is trying to find solutions, you might stop to get the facts FIRST:

1) The ailrcraft he is using are among the most modern and fuel-efficient. People are going to travel anyway--his entry into the market will mean his share of the market is "greener."
2) Branson is spending $3 Billion over the next 10 years on alternative energy research.

So why don't you do the right thing: post an apology.

Branson has an excellent record of putting his money where his mouth is - when he says he'll do something he does it.

Already he has devoted a lot of money to developing cleaner and more efficient technologies. His train and airplane enterprises are amongst the cleanest and most fuel efficient there are. Whilst other train and airline oiperators are investing in 'dirty' technology Branson has invested in 'clean' technology. Unlike other operators who continue running polluting planes and trains for as long as possible, Branson retires his early in order to replace them with cleaner models.

People are going to fly regardless, far better they fly with an environmentally conscious airline than one whose only motive is profit.

I agree with Trevor. I don't agree with him but at least he puts his money where his mouth is unlike most environmentalists who want others to sacrifice, though I guess he isn't suffering too much with his billions.
