1. Do you and your significant other have the same Spiritual beliefs? Nope..

2. Have your spiritual beliefs ever differed?
I have always been Wiccan and he has always been Christian?

3. Have you ever or do you currently go to some sort of religious or spiritual gathering just to "keep the peace" or to avoid "rocking the boat"?
Yes. I go to church with him sometimes.

4. Do you discuss the differences in your beliefs (if it applies) or do you avoid such conversations?
We just don't talk about it. The one time we tried, we ended up fighting because he is Christian and I am Wiccan. So, to avoid fighting, we just don't discuss it at all.

1 - My husband & I share similar beliefs (both are based on Christianity)

2 - Our spiritual beliefs differ on several levels.

3 - We would never compromise our spirituality just to "keep the peace" that wouldn't make any sense. What hypocrites would we be! We do not, however, argue over our spiritual differences. Those are personal beliefs & we share a mutual respect.

4 - We discuss our differences frequently. It makes for interesting conversation & gives us an issue to talk about that we know we may or may not ever come to the same conclusion about.

1. I'm single at the moment, but there is a good chance that when I do get a significant other, we'll be different.

2. Mine have, I was raised catholic. I am now a humanist. Can't say for a future gf.

3. I probably would. After all, isn't a relationship about give and take? (I forget the actual word at the moment. lol)

4. Well, it will all depend on how fervent a believer she might be. If we can discuss just things without hurting each other's feelings and going to separate rooms, then we might discuss it.

1. We share a lot of the same beliefs.
2. Yes, on many issues we disagree but we allow each other the space to believe as we choose.
3. No, nor would I ever. I will not compromise my beliefs or right to them just to make another person happy. Call me selfish.
4. We do have discussions about our different beliefs and sometimes it can get heated but always we end with the understanding of personal freedom to believe as we choose.

I am Wiccan and my husband is agnostic. The differences don't cause any hardships. As for spiritual gatherings. He loves to go to pagan gatherings with me, he enjoys hearing the varied points of view. Conversation takes a key roll in our relationship, and often those conversations revovle around religion and philosophy. We find our differences fascinating, considering with both were raised Christian and yet came away with such differing views.
