I have had much fun on Y/A, and truly have enjoyed all the answers, including the critical, enlightened and jokesters alike. There are some really funny and intelligent anonymous people on here and since I love all people on this little earth, I want you all to know that I enjoyed each and every one of you, regardless of religion, belief or social status. I am an athiest, but that does not define me as I have so many other attributes which to define and make me happy. Apparently, some people have been a little too serious or not open to other beliefs and I am probably going to be violated out of existance. I guess then, that this is my self-penned eulogy. Since I have to ask a question, my question is.. why do people take yahoo answers so seriously?
Goodbye all, and never to return....?

You are like the coolest atheist i have seen on here. I love all people too. But sometimes when people ask a question to provoke I sometimes have to answer depending on my mood. But you have brought out a lot of positives and are understanding then most. so keep it up.

What do you mean by "taking seriously", when I ask a question, I'm curious what people will answer. But I will never change my life or habits because of yahoo answers, that would be "taking these answers seriously to me.
When I answer a question, I write what I think but I don't expect people to believe or agree with me on everything.
Look at is as a game, but maybe just a bit more then a usual game, people try to help others and of course there are some b.....s but you will find those everywhere in life.
I hope this helps a bit, enjoy your life but I think you already do.

There is a slight bit of seriousness to it, but anything said in here shouldn't be taken to heart, if you get the distinction between the two.

--ESPECIALLY on the religious page , there is a lot of emotion expressed.
--Some controlled others in sheer anger! --And of course there are levels in between!
--HOW CAN YOU get away from being serious when you feel your God or the true God, and his Son , Christ Jesus ,are being treated with contempt.
--MIND YOU there are some that might not really mean to be contemptable , but they seem to get on the band wagan, when either some so-called christians (threatening with hellfire, really act ing like the spanish inquisitors)
--OR ATHEISTS using the dead science of evolution, and trying to make monkeys out of those who believe in "intelligent design"
--ON THE OTHER HAND to be a joker with the serious subjects of the Bible , and making light of its history falls in this catgory:
(Genesis 19:12-14) “12Â Then the men said to Lot: “Do you have anyone else here? Son-in-law and your sons and your daughters and all who are yours in the city, bring out of the place! 13Â For we are bringing this place to ruin, because the outcry against them has grown loud before Jehovah, so that Jehovah sent us to bring the city to ruin.” 14Â Hence Lot went on out and began to speak to his sons-in-law who were to take his daughters, and he kept on saying: “Get up! Get out of this place, because Jehovah is bringing the city to ruin!” But in the eyes of his sons-in-law he seemed like a man who WAS JOKING"(my caps)
--SO ESPECIALLY when Scriptures are used in their true context and make a serious point, as the above shows with the scenario of Sodom & Gommorah--
--WOULD IT not be foolish to take such an application jokingly?
